Appaloosa Horses                       Corriente Cattle
Corriente Cattle
The Corriente can be traced back to the first
cattle brought to the new world by the Spanish
as early as 1493.  They are a hardy breed,
chosen especially to withstand the ocean
crossing and to adapt to the new land.

In the early 1800's European and other breeds
were introduced to the new world and as a
result of cross-breeding, by the 1900's nearly
pure descedants of the original Corriente Cattle
almost disappeared until human intervention
worked to preserve the original breed.
Our Cattle are Pure-Bred Corriente with no
Longhorn influence.  Because of their hardi-
ness, they are a favorite of ropers and
doggers and are commonly used at rodeos
and roping events.

We produce a good selection of fresh cattle
for roping or training horses and we also
have a good selection of replacement
heifers, both open and bred.

Cattle are offered for Sale/Lease at all times,
so contact us for additional information.
We hope you enjoy our website!  Check back often as we are still building pages and
will be adding more information and photographs soon!
